Mission

Engineers at the Whiting School of Engineering and other Johns Hopkins divisions are working to discover and develop novel engineered interfaces that will assist increasing numbers of older adults in maintaining health and a high quality of life.  At the Human Aging Project, engineers and biomedical engineers will harness the latest advances in artificial intelligence, remote sensing, robotics devices, nanotechnologies, big data, and wearable and implantable devices.

Najim Dehak, Ph.D., an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at the Whiting School of Engineering, specializes in speech processing, and speaker and language recognition.
